Wedding Photography Details
I LIKE WHAT I SEE. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO NOW?
Here is a basic overview of the process:
BOOKING YOUR WEDDING DATE
The first step is to check the availability of your wedding date. Assuming your date is open, and you are ready to book, I will ask you to read and sign the wedding contract. A booking fee is due at that time. The booking fee is $800 and is applied in full to your package cost. The remaining amount is due one week prior to your wedding date. Payment plans can be arranged if necessary.
PLANNING FOR THE PHOTOGRAPHY
If you choose to do formal group portraits you will need to decide on when you want to do those. Also, you may want to make a list of specific group pictures you would like. This is only necessary if you have any special requests beyond the standard family and wedding party groupings. You will also need to decide on any special locations that you’d like to be photographed at. I have no limit on the number of locations. One to two weeks before the wedding I will contact you to confirm all details.
DURING THE WEDDING
It is my responsibility to capture all of the meaningful moments of the day. I will be unobtrusively taking photographs the entire time I am present. I will not instruct or direct you except during the formal group portraits. During group portraits I do not mind if others are taking photographs. However, I will ask them to wait until after I get the shot. Once everyone is and ready and present for the group pictures they go very fast. If you are concerned with it taking too long or if you have a large family, you may want to designate someone to gather family members and friends for the pictures.
AFTER THE WEDDING
The contract you received when booking contains information regarding viewing your online gallery. You will be given a date that the gallery will be online, as well as the website address and a password to share with friends and family. Once the gallery is up you will receive your high resolution CD and DVD slideshow of the wedding images. You may also purchase prints and albums at that time.
